Sunny Hill Stable

Discover the beauty and tranquility of Sunny Hill Stable, where you can immerse yourself in the world of horses. Whether you're an experienced rider or just starting out, our farm offers a diverse range of equine activities for all levels of enthusiasts.

About Our Farm

Sunny Hill Stable was established in 2014. The original farm was known as Hillside Farm, which was originally built in 1774 by Colonel Andrew Tyler.

My horse experience runs deep. I started out as a summer camp kiddo myself and worked my way from volunteer, junior instructor to barn manager and now a farm owner myself.

My passion is teaching more than "just the riding." I want to contribute to horse knowledge to grow the industry of horses. If we all own a horse, may we truly understand how much more purposeful life can truly feel!

Testimonials

Kami is the absolute sweetest person on earth, and her genuine love and care for these horses so clearly comes across in their overall demeanor. I’ve never met friendlier horses in my life, and I wouldn’t doubt for a second that this is a direct result of their large, clean stalls and ample room for turnout with their buddies. It always makes me so happy to be around horses that genuinely love the environment they live in and enjoy working!

Kami is not only wonderful company on a trail rides, but also a fabulous instructor for those looking for lessons. I’ve never had an instructor who has the ability to balance such attention to detail and high levels of horsemanship and riding knowledge with also being a compassionate and patient teacher- no matter the level of the rider.

I could genuinely ramble on and on about how wonderful this stable is. I look forward to every visit, not just for the horses, but also to spending time with Kami and seeing how a good stable should be run.

I absolutely adore Sunny Hill Stables and all the animals and staff. Kami is very knowledgeable and amazing at what she does!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a love or interest in learning about horses, or just love being in a nature/barn setting. Even though I don't ride every visit, each time I am there is like a wonderful and much needed reset for my energy. My favorite kind of therapy! The vibe is always fun and full of so much love. A must visit in my opinion!

Just attended my second yoga and horseback riding retreat. Kami is a wonderfully welcoming and upbeat person. Everyone associated with this retreat is friendly and so kind. Amy did a great job with the yoga. Lunch was delicious. Can’t wait to do it again.
